The mission of the Strategic Planning Unit group is to help management with the long term planning activities and resources optimisation. It provides models for medium and long-term personnel and financial planning. It is in charge of compiling the medium-term plan of CERN Scientific activities and budget estimates which is approved annually by the CERN Council.
