This folder contains correspondence with prof. Blaser it includes a memoranda, a letter about the renewal of the venia legendi, his contract for the wintersemester 1972/1973 in ETHZ, a application of admission for Herrn K. Freudenreich for his doctorate, It also contains documents relating to the CERN–ETH Zürich Group.
The administrative records are documents relating to the indemnité de sortie of Werner Beusch and his employment contract.
A substantial portion of the folder consists of correspondence between Werner Beusch and J. P. Blaser. Their exchanges concern academic and professional matters, including degree requirements for physicists, references, employment opportunities, and internships. Werner Beusch frequently appears as a recipient of copied correspondence in order to remain informed of ongoing discussions.
The correspondence also includes proposals for student semester.
Also included is a message from Werner Beusch regarding reimbursement of train expenses incurred while attending the International Conference in Heidelberg. Other materials include a handwritten note entitled “Provision Budget für 1968” relating to the OMEGA experiment, a program for the CERN–ETH Group for 1967, and correspondence concerning funding requests and financial support for the CERN–ETH Group.
This folder contains films materials about OMEGA. Which are image of particle events recorded by the CERN OMEGA Spectrometer.
This box contains 3 slides boxes and 2 envelopes, which are the slides that didn't have a box.
This folder contains information about a conference, a copy of “Historical Background to Cretan Antiquities”, handwritten notes on strangeness detection in high-rate, high-density environments, and an image of a machine identified as a "one chamber module".
This series contains printed copies of scientific publication and reference materials, most of them were printed during the 2000s after his retirement he continued his passion of learning more. In some documents you may find some handwritten mathematic.
The files of Werner Beusch contain a wide variety of documents from his scientific career at CERN. He mainly worked on the OMEGA Spectrometer at CERN from the 1960s to his retirement in 1995.
The documents contains a variety of materials from 1947 to 2015, which includes some non-CERN and CERN scientific publications, correspondence, handwritten notes, administrative, conferences, photographs, films, slides and reference materials. The languages most used in the documents are German, English and French, with one publication in Greek.
What mainly constitutes the collection are the handwritten notes that we found in his possession. These includes scientific calculations, experimental data calculations, graphs/charts and research notes. It also contains correspondence with colleagues, such as Jean-Pierre Blaser and universities such as ETHZ about Beusch's work.
The collection also contains slides, photographs and films documenting CERN from an aerial point of view, laboratory, charts, scientific presentations and the OMEGA Spectrometer.
Zonder titelIt contains correspondence on contract S067-ST, including summary reports, drawings, meeting minutes, quality system assurance manual, drafting of drawings of procedure JV1-07.
